best day ever - and it's a girl

As I noted last week, we indeed have a baby on the way :) wooohoooo!

This morning we woke up to go to a 7:30am appointment...got to see the baby and all of it's organs, bones, and awesomeness. It was better than a movie and was captivating, enthralling and insanely fantastic. Reminded me how much I enjoyed my anatomy class in high school (one of few classes I liked, in fact). But this is anatomy that is connected to Cassio and I, so it was even better.

Baby is a girl and things seem to be going well.

Can't wait to meet the little lady, but I guess we should enjoy the process.

Happy late New Year and great News!

In mid-December, Cassio and I discovered that we were expecting a baby. Our holiday cheer was exceptionally different (and wonderful) this year and the New Year came and went...and here it is mid-March!

Currently, the 16 week cuteness is doing well and we will find out next week if it is a cuteness boy or girl. How is it already almost into the 5th month? And how is it possible that the pregnancy is nearly half over? Must be the good mood and elevated optimism. I've never been so excited about ANYTHING ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are all elated (family, friends and cats)...so here are some pictures. There isn't much to see yet (regarding the belly) so these will have to do for now.
